Commissions
I create lots of my fused glass pieces on commission - the advantage of each piece being individually handmade is that it’s really no trouble to adapt the design or colour scheme to suit your requirements. Why buy something off the shelf when you can have it tailored to your own taste?
My Gallery and Pinterest pages show the types of glasswork I have made in the past, which might provide some inspiration. Requests for variations on products you’ve seen in my online store are also welcome. This page contains further details of some past commissions I’ve taken on - though I’m happy to consider anything! Please get in touch using my Contact form if you would like to discuss a commission.
Once we have agreed on a design, I will require a 50% deposit to be paid before I start on the glass work, with the other 50% to be paid when the piece is ready to dispatch (I will provide photos with the final invoice). Payments are to be made by bank transfer. If I have the required glass in stock, and depending on my other workload, I can usually complete an individual commission in 2-3 weeks (excluding school holidays).
Commercial commissions will also be considered: for example, I have worked with Clavis & Claustra to create the Suffragette and Witch ranges of wall hangings. In this case, wholesale prices are available for bulk orders (four or more similar pieces).
Wedding Table Stands
This idea started out with a bottle of bubbly, and developed into unique, personalisable stands for wedding tables. They can have the same text on the front and back of the stand, or different text to make an extra-special memento of the day.
The five designs shown below are some examples, and one option is to request a Bride & Groom for the top table and Hearts (for example) for all the other tables. But if you’d like a different design for each table - perhaps you have your own theme - then please do get in touch and I’ll be happy to work with you to create that bespoke sparkle for your special day.
Prices for the existing small format start at £12 per stand (bulk discounts may be available). Larger pieces could also be created, up to 20 cm wide by 20 cm tall.
Hedgehogs
My rainbow hedgehog was the first piece of fused glass I produced, and has an enduring popularity. One client even commissioned me to double up and create two rainbow hedgehogs in a bespoke piece celebrating her hedgehog-loving daughter’s 15th wedding anniversary.
As well as the rainbow version, they are available in single colours - or why not commission your own colour combination? Single hedgehogs are also available in personalisable wooden stands, when a simple message is all you need to add - please contact me to discuss.
To give an idea of the price, single hanging hedgehogs cost £20 (whether they’re rainbow or a specific colour scheme).

Other Animals
A lady saw one of my rainbow hedgehogs in a wooden stand on display at a friend’s house, and asked if I could do an elephant! Obviously elephants don’t have triangular spines, and I didn’t want to do a clone of Elmer, so I came up with a colourful “blobby” design. The shadow is just as good as the glass itself - it looks stunning on a windowsill with the sunlight streaming through!
I subsequently helped my 8-year-old make a monkey in a similar style, though he went for a more realistic colour scheme.
Bespoke animals comprising custom-made glass blobs start at £25.
Party / Wedding Favours
I was commissioned to make some “thank you” party favours, to be given to attendees of a surprise birthday party who’d travelled across the country to be there. These are magnets, with a design based on the Orange Tip butterfly. They are 8x8cm.
This particular set cost £10 each, but simpler versions could be commissioned for less - the writing and (believe it or not) the yellow lines are the fiddliest parts.

Bespoke Messages on Glass
A new client saw pictures of my experimental greetings cards (which I’d made for family members) and got in touch to commission a golden wedding anniversary gift for her parents. She requested a freestanding piece in a simple wooden stand, and specified the words and the colour scheme - I took it one step further and proposed the heart-shape, since it seemed to suit the words so well.
Whether you know exactly what you want, or you’ve got the beginning of an idea and would like to discuss and develop it with me - please do get in touch via my Contact form.

Chess Board
I was once asked, “Do you think you could make a glass chess board?” The answer, I can now confirm, is yes - and I think it turned out rather well! This one was made from colours of glass I had in stock, and each square has 3cm sides. The overall size of the chess board is 26x26cm. It has clear rubbery non-slip feet, although felt feet would also be an option for a smooth gliding finish.
To give a rough indication of the price, this one would retail at £80. My kiln could theoretically fit in a chess board with 3.5cm or 4cm squares, though this would obviously cost more in materials.

Choirs
From community choirs to cathedral choirs to school choirs, I have created a number of different designs with bespoke colour schemes. Large or small, organ or bunting, hanging or freestanding - there are lots of opportunities to customise these designs. With a wooden stand, there is the further option to personalise the text - maybe to add the name of your group, or a greeting to the recipient? The choice is yours: please get in touch if you’d like to commission something similar.
Prices for the smaller pieces (10x15cm) would start at £20; larger ones (20x15cm) would start at £30. Wholesale prices are also available.

Coasters
These coasters were originally a commission, though they are now available in my online store as well (with the permission of my client). They were designed with the favourite colours of each member of the family in mind, set against a stylish black and white swirl to give them all a common theme. What would your perfect set of coasters look like? I’d be happy to work with you to create them!
My coasters are approximately 10x10cm - plenty big enough for a decent mug of tea. They have little rubbery feet to stop them slipping around on the table.
Prices would vary depending on the complexity of the design and the types of glass used. This design retails at £40 for the set of six.

Soap Dishes / Sponge Rests
My soap dish or kitchen sponge rest is designed with nine raised dots to provide some airflow, along with a flat bottom for stability. We can customise the colour of the dots or the whole piece to suit your taste and decor. Contact me to discuss your bespoke design!
The size is approximately 8x8cm, and prices would start from £10 depending on the chosen glass colours/patterns.

“Bits and Bobs” Dishes
I can currently make square dishes in three sizes: 8 cm, 10-11 cm and 15 cm. One of my most popular dish designs is my “rainbow tartan lattice” - it shimmers beautifully in the sunlight, makes gorgeous shadows and has practical holes between each stripe that means they suit a variety of uses. I’d been making them in 8 cm and 10 cm sizes with seven colours, and then I was commissioned to create a 15 cm version so I upped the number of colours to ten to keep it looking dainty. My customer liked it so much that she immediately commissioned another!

I could make variations of this with a smaller colour pallette of repeating colours - perhaps greens and blues for an aquatic bathroom theme? The prices range from £12 for the 8 cm version to £20 for the 15 cm version.
Other ideas / inspiration
My iconic triangular people are a common feature in my designs: they’ve popped up in suffragette rallies, nativity scenes, choirs and punting on the River Cam to name a few. What else could they get up to? What would you like to see them doing? Drop me a line if you’d like to commission another scene, or a variation with a particular colour scheme. Please note: unfortunately I have so far been unable to source any glass for skin tones between pale peach and dark brown, so at the moment I am limited to these extremes.
Prices would vary according to the size and complexity of the design, but a small (10x15cm) simple piece would start at approximately £20.
Wooden Stand Personalisation
Many of my pieces can be supplied with wooden stands rather than drilled holes for hanging. This offers further scope for personalisation, as a message of your choice could be laser engraved on the wooden stand. Personalisation of the wooden stands starts at £2.
